Introduction to my blog:

This blog will showcase the processes that I have been through in order to construct my G324 Advanced Portfolio in Media Studies.

I chose to continue my study of Media due to my interest in and desire to understand how media products are constructed for an audience; how an institution uses image and text in order to communicate with their chosen target audiences.

In this Advanced Portfolio, I will be showing the research and planning, construction and then finally an evaluation of how I felt as if the process went. My advanced portfolio will consist of a main task and 2 ancillary tasks.

Ancillary Tasks:
1) a radio advertisement for the programme

2) a short title sequence for the programme

Main Task:
An extract/package from a local TV news programme, lasting between 5 - 6 minutes
